A place of superb cuisine - 4 seasons
In Stancija 1904., we are cooking with products from the region purchased from small producers of cheese, fruit and vegetables, olive oil and meat. Fish is purchased from well-known fishermen from Rovinj. Therefore, in Stancija 1904., what nature offers at that moment is on the table. The main secret ingredient is love - we do what we love, and this was recognized by both, the guests and the profession.
European Destinations of Excellence
Each EU member state participating in the project conducts its own election process. In Croatia the election is conducted by the Croatian Tourist Board. In order to carry out the national selection, it is necessary to: appoint a team to carry out the procedure, appoint a commission, create criteria, announce the competition and choose a winner who will be present at the European awards ceremony in Brussels organized by the European Commission and will become a member of the European network of EDEN project destinations. At the Days of Croatian Tourism, the national winner is presented with an award and a statue.
All destinations of excellence sign the so-called Memorandum of Understanding. Declaration on the European network of destinations of excellence for sustainable tourism, which commits to mutual cooperation and exchange of knowledge and information on the development of tourism.
Stancija 1904. is the national winner of Eden in 2013 on the topic "Accessible tourism". The Republic of Croatia became a member of the European Union on July 1, 2013.
